(Worley) Asher and passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 25 days. Bob graduated from Cherryville High School. Right after school he married Wanda Faye Dunlap on December 15, 1956 in Steelville, Missouri at the Assembly of God Church (which is now the current day Hutson Funeral Home). After they married, they moved to St. Louis, Missouri where Bob worked as a carpet layer and owned his own business, Asher Carpet and Tile for over 30 years. In 1982 they returned to Crawford County where they made their home in Cherryville, Missouri. He worked as a school bus driver in Viburnum, Missouri for five years. Wanda and Bob were previous members at the 1st Baptist Church of Cherryville and he had accepted the Lord early in life. He enjoyed bird watching with Wanda. He loved to hunt and fish and had a fishing club called Leaping Lunkers. He taught his whole family how to lay carpet. Bob was a big jokester and lit up every room he was in. Margaret Mae Beers Margaret Mae (nee Britton) Beers of Steelville, Missouri was born December 20, 1940 in Davisville, Missouri to Roy Estel and Alice Mae Turnbough Britton and passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at the age of 79 years and 11 months. Margaret married Alfred Lavern Beers on November 11, 1956 in Cherryville, Missouri. Margaret worked alongside her husband, Al, for 25 years at their businesses, Spare Rib Inn, Al's Hardware and Al's Cafe where she enjoyed visiting with customers and serving the community. She also was employed at Convy Shoe, Briggs and Stratton and later on at San-Val where she retired. Margaret was a faithful member of the Assembly of God Church where she was a greeter and sang in the choir. She enjoyed Southern Gospel music and loved to sing and read. She also enjoyed rooting for the Cardinals and watching Wheel of Fortune. She was a volunteer for the Ministerial Alliance and the food pantry. Margaret was not only committed to her church, but to her community and her family. She was basically a Belle resident most of her life and attended Maries RII Schools. Donna was most remembered as one of the best Casey's managers Belle, Missouri ever had although she did many other jobs starting in the Belle Shoe Factory at the age of 16. On December 26, 1947 at Cuba, Missouri she married Arlis Joseph Bock. She loved to take care of her family, having a husband and three boys she was kept very busy, but had time to enjoy her flowers. She loved to cook and in the summer months she cared for a garden and enjoyed canning. She attended the Vichy Community Church for many years. On February 14, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri he married Barbara Kay Best. Don served the city of St. Louis, Missouri by being a fire fighter for 26 years, retiring in 1986. Even while working full-time, he enjoyed working part-time jobs removing and replacing the floor at the Checker Dome for Blue's games, delivering furniture and was a home inspector. He was a member of the St. Louis Association of Retired Fire Fighters. Don loved watching the St. Louis Blues hockey team, playing golf where he was a member of the Viburnum Country Club and going to deer camp. Don enjoyed keeping his large lawn mowed and looking nice at all times. Dennis Culler Sr. Dennis Culler Sr. of St. James, Missouri was born April 5, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to Norbert and Daisy Viola Perkins Culler and passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the age of 72 years. He married Judy Williams in St. Louis, Missouri. He loved to be outdoors working in his garage and fishing with his wife and grandsons. He enjoyed road trips. He was a veteran for four years, and he went into the police force shortly after. He became a sergeant on the police force. He retired with close to 30 years of service. In 2005 he was awarded a Medal of Valor. He was a Christian and he was a member at First Baptist church in St. James, Missouri. He spent many hours volunteering at the church mowing lawns with his grandsons and cooking for the men's breakfasts and the Easter Sunrise services. Mary Jean Faircloth Mary Jean (Plummer) Faircloth was born February 28, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harry Dolphus and Effie Eugenia (Smith) Plummer and passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Jean grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where she attended elementary school at Rowe School and later attended Southwest High School. Her family made many trips on the Frisco train to visit her Grandmother Smith near Cook Station, Missouri. Jean and her family were members of the Immanuel Methodist Church in St. Louis, Missouri for many years. Jean Cletus Herbert Faircloth eloped to Van Buren, Arkansas on March 14, 1948 and on March 15, 1948 they were married. Due to rules against married students attending high school, Jean was not able to finish her high school education at Southwest High School. But years later, she earned her high school diploma with a GED and later took some college courses. While living in Bonne Terre, Jean was active in the Centenary Methodist Church and was awarded a life membership in the Wesleyan Service Guild. She also served as a den mother in the Boy Scouts of America and a Girl Scout leader for many years. Jean enjoyed working part time for Missouri University on outreach programs and aid to the elderly and disabled. This led to public opinion polls by the University and then to working for many of the national poll takers in a five-county area around Bonne Terre. In 1975 after a team of lay witnesses came to Centenary Church, Jean and Cletus joined in this work and together they were involved in 69 missions in many years following. After moving to Viburnum, Jean became very active in the Emmanuel United Methodist church as a Sunday School teacher and quilter. In later years she held the position of administrative board chairman until she had to move due to her health. The board kept her on in an honorary capacity. For many years at the church, Jean was in charge of the church food baskets for the needy. Jean was appointed to the Board of the Iron County Ambulance District where she served as Chairman for one term and as a member until moving to Waynesville, Missouri. She continued to serve even after she had to be helped to make the trip to Pilot Knob and Annapolis for the meetings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Effie Plummer; and one granddaughter, Heather Faircloth. Leroy married Betty (Gruver) Fortner on October 3, 1992 in Pacific, Missouri. Leroy honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. During his service to his country, Leroy was awarded the United Nations Service Medal of Korea, Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge and the National Defense Service Medal. Leroy retired as an Electrical Engineer from the City of Springfield, Missouri. He attended the Country Church in Leasburg, Missouri. He enjoyed cutting wood, tinkering with things, playing golf, going fishing and doing home renovations. Shirley Ann Mace Shirley Ann Mace of Rolla Missouri was born in Benton, Illinois on November 14, 1935 to John H. and Opal (Frailey) Glover and passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 85 years and 1 day. She married Junior Mace on November 24, 1955. Shirley had a deeply rooted Christian faith. It was her goal to share the good news of Christ to as many people as possible. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was most comfortable in the role of teaching and guiding young children. Because of her love of children, she was one of the founders of the Rolla Church of Christ Day School, which is still in existence today. Shirley, along with many other Christian women, have and continue to devote many hours of teaching little ones about the love of God. Patricia Laverne Ogle Patricia Laverne (nee Hutson) Ogle of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Cherryville, Missouri on July 15, 1933 to Santa and Edna (nee Brown) Hutson and passed away on Friday November 6, 2020, at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 22 days. Patricia was a born again Christian and proclaimed Jesus and spread the gospel to everyone she could. She enjoyed yard work, flowers and time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santa and Edna Hutson; her step mother, Rose (nee Oxendine) Hutson; children, Edna Sue Binder and Joseph P. Ogle; brothers-in-law, Edward Conaway, Robert Phenix, Noah Livesay, David Boldt, Robert Ogle, Jimmy Ogle; sisters-in-law, Gail Hutson, Marion Hutson, Ruth Livesay, Margret Boldt; and sisters, Grace Rogers, Edith Cornick, Dovie Conaway and Bernice Dierking. She is survived by her son, Richard W. Ogle of Bourbon, Missouri; daughter, Nancy J. Randy Noel Patton Randy Noel Patton of St. James, Missouri was born October 5, 1951 in Sandoval, Illinois to Roy and Edna (Pratt) Patton and passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the age of 69 years. In 2005 Randy married Debbie Rice. Randy owned and operated Rumors Bar in Centralia, Illinois for many years. He was a very giving man and would help others in any way he could. Randy enjoyed fishing, boating, working on cars, and collecting unusual artifacts such as railroad signs and other railroad items. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Edna Patton; one son, Randy Patton; and two siblings, Francis Roy Patton and Claire McDonald. Arrangements under the direction of the Rolla Cremation and Memorial in Rolla, Missouri. Richard A. "Rick" Ransom Richard A. "Rick" Ransom of Leasburg, Missouri was born on January 11, 1957 in Ft. Polk, Louisiana to James L. and Imo Jeanette (Phillips) Ransom and passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 8 days. As many military children, he had the opportunity to travel throughout the states and Europe. He lived in France and Germany and traveled throughout Europe, including Belgium, Luxemburg and Italy. Rick was always ill, and frail, but he was a fighter when it came to protecting those he loved. In 1970 when kidney transplants were still in the experimental stages, he received his first kidney. His father without hesitation donated one of his in the hopes it would prolong Rick's life. To everyone's amazement, he became the longest surviving kidney recipient in the nation. However, that kidney eventually failed and he received another kidney from an unknown donor. Rick was well known for his quick wit, sense of humor and his generosity in helping those in need. His smile was infectious and if he thought something was funny, he could not contain his laughter. Rick graduated from Junction City Senior High, in Junction City, Kansas in 1975. He worked briefly for an RV company in Kansas, before moving to Leasburg, Missouri. Rick owned and operated Rick's Market in Leasburg and Sullivan, Missouri for many years. He also worked off and on at Ike's Place. He loved being outdoors, camping, being in and on the river, whether he was swimming or canoeing. He loved dogs and had taken in many strays, as well as taking care of his own. He spent hours putting puzzles together. He loved spending time watching the news or football games with his little buddy Sebastian. He was preceded in death by his mother, Imo Jeanette (Phillips) Ransom; and sister-in-law, Barbara Ransom. He is survived by his father, James L. Ransom of Leasburg, Missouri; three brothers, James and wife Sonya Ransom of Vancouver, Washington, Raymond (Nea) Ransom of Cuba, Missouri and Roger Matthew Ransom of Leasburg, Missouri; one sister, Debra Jeanette Ransom of Leasburg, Missouri; best friend, Mark Hammock and his three children that called him Poppy - Sebastian, Destiny and Pepper, all of Leasburg, Missouri; three aunts, Gladys (Sally) Hartung of Leasburg, Missouri, Linda Bryan of Leasburg, Missouri and Joy Friedman of Bourbon, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Schumacher Jr. of Bourbon, Missouri was born on Saturday, December 2, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to Edward H. and Margaret F. (Pearly) Schumacher Sr. and passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 75 years. Edward retired as a pipefitter from Rock Hill Mechanical, after 30 plus years of dedicated service. He was a member of Pipefitters Local #562 and Knights of Columbus Council No. 8920. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbequing, traveling and tinkering with things. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Margaret Schumacher Sr.; and one son, Clyde "Rowdy" Campbell. Charles William Thomas Charles William Thomas of Cuba, Missouri was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1934 in Richland, Missouri to Leonard W. and Flossie (Newell) Thomas and passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the age of 86 years. Charles married Janet Lunsford on June 21, 1964 in Cuba, Missouri. Charles worked for McDonnell-Douglas and later he would retire from Fleming Manufacturing Company. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Covenant Praise Church of God. He enjoyed singing, fishing, bird watching, Harley Davidson motorcycles, playing games on his iPad and being an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard W. and Flossie (Newell) Thomas; one daughter, Tammy Sue Thomas; one brother, Leonard and wife Mary Thomas; one sister, Mary Louise and husband James Stevens; one nephew, John Thomas.
