On September 21, 1951, she married Harold Edwin Atwell in Biloxi, Mississippi. Elsie enjoyed painting, cooking, crafting and gardening. She was a previous member of the Rolla Lioness Club and she enjoyed working for fundraisers around Rolla, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sabra Lewis; husband, Harold on September 25, 2014; two sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by four children, Cyndi Fogler of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Gary Atwell and wife Alice of Kansas City, Missouri, Ted Atwell and wife Carol of Rolla, Missouri and Linda Wofford and husband Tom of Rolla, Missouri; one brother, Clyde Lewis of St. James, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. "Ginny" (Wilson) Beasley of Rolla, Missouri was born on August 8, 1953 in Newburg, Missouri to Johnnie Jacob Wilson and Lola Virginia (Braidlow) Mesko and passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the age of 65 years. On September 20, 2014 she married Michael Beasley in Rolla, Missouri. Ginny was employed with Phelps Regional Homecare for 21 years. She was never without a smile and never met a stranger. Ginny always gave more to others than she did to herself. She loved gardening, bingo and playing the lottery. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Wilson, her stepfather, Emil Mesko and one grandson, Zachary Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Michael Beasley of Rolla, Missouri; mother, Lola V. Oliver "Richard" Carden Oliver "Richard" Carden of Steelville, Missouri was born ecember 15, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to Ollie and Frances Roberts Carden and passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 5 days. He married Lois Delashmet in May of 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri. Richard grew up in the Ferguson area of St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from the Ferguson High School. After high school, he attended and graduated from Ranken Technical College of St. Louis, Missouri in the 1950's. He was owner of Carden Machine in Sullivan from 1956 to 2010. He was involved in many organizations of machinery manufacturing. Richard loved the outdoors and spent some of his time fishing and hunting. He enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Sullivan, Missouri years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Frances Carden; two step-sons, Colon "Butch" Moore and Anthony Moore; one brother, Ollie M. Carden; one sister, Jackie Carden; one granddaughter, Angie Black; two brothers-in-law, John Delashmet and Jerry Delashmet; and one sister-in-law, Gloria Coombs. Arthur Lloyd "Art" Compton Arthur Lloyd "Art" Compton of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, February 12, 1945 at St. Louis, Missouri to Wendell E. and Lillian Marie (nee Toland) Compton and passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 73 years. After proudly serving in the United States Navy, Art began his career as a truck driver. He drove for Freeman Decorating in Atlanta during the Olympics and stayed for 10 years following. He then went to work for Middle West Freight Ways for 27 years and retired in 2003. Art believed in working and making money. During the years that he was a truck driver he also owned a landscaping business and after he retired in 2003, he kept mowing grass. Art collected different items during his life; Indian memorabilia, NASCAR cars, hot wheels with the car hauler, guns, motorcycles and lately he had been collecting zippo lighters. Art rode with the Mid West Drifters for the last two years and he was part of the Patriot Guard Riders for several years. He was also a member of the Cuba American Legion. Art married Janet Moffett Deabler on November 29, 1997 at Eagle Mountain, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell E. and Lillian M. Compton; step-son, Mike Deabler; and two brothers, Billy and Ronnie Compton. Mullally Ann E. Mullally of Naples, Florida, formerly of Cuba, Missouri, was born Friday, October 12, 1928 at St. Louis, Missouri to Frank X. and E. Kathleen (nee Wolfe) Price and passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Ann attended grade school in St. Louis, Missouri at St. Margaret of Scotland and graduated from Sisters of the Loretto Academy of St. Louis in 1946. She was one of the "Loretto Girls". Ann married James J. Mullally Jr. at St. Louis, Missouri. Ann and Jim lived in St. Louis, San Antonio, Baton Rouge, Houston, Texas and back to St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Cuba, Missouri in 1974. From 1950 till 1956 Ann was the secretary for Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis and from 1980 to 1988 she was the secretary for Mullally Distributing in Cuba, Missouri. Ann was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, before moving to Naples, Florida. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling and going to the beach. She spent hours reading and was an avid fan of St. Louis Cardinal Baseball, St. Louis Blues Hockey and the St. Louis Rams, before they moved. She was also member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Kathleen Price; husband, James J. Mullally Jr.; and one son, James J. "Jimmy" Mullally III. Jesse James Robbins Jesse James Robbins of Bland, Missouri Jesse was born on October 28, 1965 in Middlton, Tennessee to James Leroy and Fredia Emma (Turner) Robbins and passed away November 25, 2018 at the age of 53 years. Jesse loved deer hunting. He had a dog that he considered to be his child. He took him everywhere. He grew up in Edgar Springs and Newburg, Misouri then eventually settled in Bland, Missouri. He was married twice to his first wife, Christina Coverdell of Cuba, Missouri and they had a son together named Jordan (Robbins) Coverdell who has a son named Braxton. He had other grandbabies from his second wife, Vickie Robbins. She had two daughters with children. He was a hard worker until he had a vehicle accident and a heart attack. He loved the water, especially the rivers in Flat, Missouri and Spring Creek. He loved horses and knew how to take a wild horse and tame him within one week. He was a true cowboy. He loved gun and knives. Jesse will be missed for the funny things he would say and his deer hunting skills. He was preceded in death by his father, James Robbins; grandparents, George Robbins, Mamie Robbins, Jessie Turner and Ellen Turner; brother, Daniel; and son, Josh. Jimmy was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Souders on June 12, 1971 in Cuba, Missouri. Jimmy owned and operated Yates Lawn Service for many years. He enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Rachel I. (McMullin) Yates; wife, Dorothy A. (Souders) Yates; infant son, Jonathan Yates; three brothers, Selby, George and Herbert Yates; and one sister, Elinor Kim Yates.
