Toni married Allan Bailey on June 20, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri. While in St. Louis, Missouri she worked for General Motors on the assembly line before moving to Crawford County. She earned her Real Estate and Insurance licenses. Her and Allan owned Outpost Realty and Restaurant in Leasburg, Missouri for several years. Also, they had a feed store in Cuba, Missouri. She owned Elmont Snackbar in Sullivan, Missouri and then worked for Reliable Life Insurance where she sold life insurance before retiring. She enjoyed farming, bowling, golfing and fishing. Shirley married Earl Wesley Burch on March 10, 1983 at Steelville, Missouri. Shirley retired in 1998 from Phelps County Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She spent hours working in her flower beds and was an avid collector of elephants. This was Shirley's favorite time of the year because she could set up her Christmas Village. It would take 10 tables to hold all the village. Shirley and Earl enjoyed taking vacations to the Dominican, Mexico and cruises to the Caribbean. Shirley married Eldon Carl on September 3, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri. Shirley worked more than 40 years in the beer distributing industry. While living in St. Louis, Missouri she was employed at Griesedieck Brewery. After their move to Cuba, Missouri she worked for Jim Trainer Budweiser Distributor as secretary, then later for Jim Mullally Distributing. Shirley was a fabulous cook (especially of peach cobbler), an excellent seamstress, also, enjoyed quilting, and working with crafts. Eldon and her liked traveling out west during their vacations. Her world revolved around her grandkids and they all ran to her and jumped in her lap immediately when they saw her. David worked most of his adult life as a roofer specializing in residential roofs. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. He spent hours barbequing and smoking all t ypes of meat. When he wasn't outside, David would watch hours of wrestling on TV. She grew up and attended school in Keysville, Missouri. Bernice began working at an early age. She was united in marriage to Ervin Dierking on September 28, 1974. They lived in Sullivan, Missouri where Bernice worked in local factories and was a homemaker. Bernice loved cooking and enjoyed making Christmas candy, especially divinity and fudge. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and watching TV. He left from this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Larry worked at Georgia Pacific for 25 years, before his health began to decline and he had to retire early. When he wasn't at work, he enjoyed working on the farm. He spent hours taking care of the horses, putting up hay and building fences. Dorothy was an accountant, having worked in Illinois for several years. She would later become an Accounting Instructor at East Central College. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Dorothy loved to play the organ, go motorcycle riding and horseback riding. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Esther ( Reimers) Feuerhelm; and one brother, Berdell Feuerhelm. George Malcolm Jennings U.S. Navy Retiree, George Malcolm Jennings, was born December 28, 1943 in Taunton, county of Somerset, England to Kenneth Charles and Olive (Spencer) Jennings and passed away December 11, 2018 at the age of 74 years. George was retired Navy E7 Chief Petty Officer GMGC. During his years of service, George earned many decorations, medals, ribbons and awards including Combat Action Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation with Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal with Silver Star, Third Good Conduct Award for period ending 09 May 83, Expert Pistol, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, National Defense Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. George and Glenna Jennings were united in marriage on September 4, 1987. He loved fishing and camping, motorcycle riding, cooking and was very artistic. George enjoyed making wooden model ships and painting. He loved to tell stories of his childhood experiences and of his life in the military. He was a lifetime member of American Legion. George was baptized in the Methodist Church as an infant on February 20, 1944 in Taunton, England. He attended Assembly of God Church and had a strong faith in his Savior Jesus Christ. Robert "Bob" Joseph Kern Robert "Bob" Joseph Kern of St. James, Missouri was born on January 16, 1948 in Kirkwood, Missouri to Harold and Trudy (Heims) Kern and passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 24 days. After high school Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later attended college and became a Fire Fighter/ Paramedic. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Aurora, Colorado Fire and Rescue Company. He then moved to St. James, Missouri, bought a little farm just outside of town, where he built a beautiful home and met Mary Duncan Strauss. They were married on August 18, 2001. Bob really enjoyed working outside on the farm, he would always plant a big garden and was always proud to share the bounty of his harvest with family and friends. In his "retirement years" Bob found much joy driving a school bus. Bob loved God and his country. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kern; sister, Diane Bjornson; and brother-in-law, John Strauss. Dan married Loetta Faye Hoch on August 31, 1953. He was very devoted to his family. Dan worked as a police officer for many years and was Chief of Police of Bridgeton Terrace, Missouri. He was also a member of the Teamsters Local Union No. 600 and worked for Pic Walsh Trucking. Dan would also dress up as a clown and Santa for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
