Conduitt and Lillian Bousser Conduitt at Rolla, Missouri and passed away on Decemberr 20, 2002 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 59 years 5 months and 2 days. Nancy was preceded in death by her father Roy F. Conduitt and one brother Richard Conduitt. Those who survive to mourn her passing from this life are her loving mother Lillian Conduitt; two brothers Tom Conduitt and wife Donna and Larry Conduitt and wife Faye; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Nancy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, good friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Funeral Mass for Nancy Pearl Conduitt was held on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at Holy Cross Church, Cuba, Missouri at 11 a.m. with Father James Finder officiating. Interment was in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. All arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Karleen Marie Gauger Karleen Marie Gauger of Cuba, Missouri was born on June 1, 1939 at Chicago, Illinois to the union of Lawrence Weber and Ina Barnwell Weber and passed away on December 18, 2002 at Columbia, Missouri at the age of 63 years 6 months and 17 days. In 1962, Karleen was united in marriage to David Gauger at Chicago, Illinois. One son, Robert William Gauger, was born to this union. They were happily married until her death. Karleen was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ina Weber and her son, Robert William Gauger. Those who remain to mourn her passing from this life are her loving husband David Gauger and one brother, Lawrence Weber; other relatives and many friends. Karleen was a loving wife, sister and good friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Memorial services for Karleen M. Benjamin W. Shoemaker Benjamin W. Shoemaker of Leasburg, Missouri, son of the late Benjamin and Lillian (Hodge) Shoemaker, passed away at his home on Monday, December 16, 2002 at the age of 49 years. Benji, as he was known by his family and friends, was born on April 14, 1953 at St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised in the St. Louis area and later graduated school there. He was employed in the shoe making industry and was employed at various times with several of the major companies in the area. In 1971 he moved to Leasburg, Missouri and was employed for a time at Aerofil Industries in Sullivan. He was known by his family as a collector of things and his main interest was trains. He also found pleasure in computers. He is survived by six brothers, Bennie Shoemaker of St. Louis, Missouri, James Shoemaker, St. Louis, Missouri, Lonnie Shoemaker of Phoenix, Arizona, Richard Shoemaker of Sullivan, Missouri, Stan Shoemaker of Owensville, Missouri and Lester Shoemaker of Pacific, Missouri. Two sisters, Doris Williams of Cuba, Missouri and Trish Sowash of O'Fallon, Missouri, other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Benjamin was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Herst and two brothers, Vernon and Russell Shoemaker. It was the desire of Benji Shoemaker to be cremated. Private family interment of his cremains will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri. Bernard Lea West Bernard Lea West of Leasburg, Missouri was born on May 15, 1015 at Leasburg, Missouri to the union of John Richard West and Bessie Lea West and passed away on December 20, 2002 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center of Rolla, Missouri at the age of 85 years 7 months and 5 days. On November 27, 1947 Bernard was united in marriage to Hilda Steuernagel at Steelville, Missouri. To this union, two sons, Barry and Brent and two daughters, Linda and Carol, were born. They have been happily married for 55 years. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, one son Brent Edward West, one brother John William West and son-in-law Ernest Sokolowski. Bernard was a long time resident of Leasburg, Missouri and retired from Fleming Manufacturing of Cuba, Missouri. After retirement Bernard spent his remaining years raising cattle on the family farm in Leasburg. Those who survive to mourn his passing from this life are his devoted wife Hilda West; one son Barry West and wife Kathy; two daughters Linda Sokolowski and Carol Smith; one sister Anna Daniels; six grandchildren, Sheri Nenninger and husband Steve, Mary Sokolowski, Michael Sokolowski, Crystal Smith Monda and husband Carl, Grant West and Brent Smith; three great grandchildren Trevor and Nicholas Nenninger and Austin Monda; other relatives and many friends. Bernard was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, good friend to all who knew him. Bernard Lea West was in state at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Homer Everett Williams Homer Everett Williams of Cuba, Missouri was born on February 4, 1914 at Rolla, Missouri to the union of John Williams and Rachel Green Williams and passed away on December 18, 2002 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 88 years 10 months and 14 days. In 1937 Homer was united in marriage to Hallie Mae Spurgeon at Rolla, Missouri. One son, Everett, and one daughter, Lou Belle, were born to this union. They were happily married until Mae preceded him in death on April 24, 2001. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest, Alfred, Claude and William Williams and four sisters, Rosie Fowler, Elise Black, Bessie Carmack and Elizabeth Wilson. Those who survive to mourn his passing from this life are his loving son Everett Williams and wife Willa Mae; loving daughter Lou Belle Spurgeon and husband Al; three grandchildren, Randy Williams, Brenda Rose and Linda Welch; seven great grandchildren. Three sisters-in-laws Velma Williams, Opal Spurgeon, and Loretta Spurgeon; one brother-in-law Ralph Spurgeon; nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.
