James Madison Steele died at his home in Bourbon last Sunday evening. 
Deceased was born in Crawford County Missouri September 6, 1868, died 
October 31, 1909 age 41 years, 1 month, 25 days. He was married in Washington 
County on February 22, 1894 to Ollie Yarborough who still survives. To 
this union was born one child a daughter age 6 years. He was a son of 
Joseph Steele who now lives in Canadian Texas. His mother preceeded him 
to the grave in 1871.
