OSCAR KING SERVICES HELD

     Oscar H. King of Courtois, died on Sunday, November 7.  He was 
born on April 27, 1893, and was 72 years old at the time of his death.
     Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ernestine King; three 
sons - Thomas and William, of the home, and Harvey, of St. Louis; 
three daughters - Mrs. Irene Owens of St. Louis, Mrs. Gladine Hebbler 
of Sullivan, Mrs. Mildred Stewart, of Michigan; and other 
relatives and friends.
     Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 
November 10, at the Cross Roads Baptist Church, Leasburg, Mo., with 
the Rev. L.H. Owens and the Rev Delmar Hutson officiating.  Interment 
was in the Cross Roads Cemetery under the direction of Halbert Funeral 
Home, Steelville.
