Glenwood Turnbough

Glenwood Turnbough was born September 1, 1929 at Huzzah Mo. and
passed away October 9, 1977 at the age of 48 years, 1 month, and
18 days.
He was the beloved husband of Hilda Turnbough; dear father of
Kevin and Pam Turnbough; dear brother of Al and Bill Turnbough,
Hazel Kozlowski, Betty Schenck, Sarah Kuntz and Brenda Jackson;
dear son-in-law of Haskell and Sadie Mason; dear brother-in-law,
nephew, uncle and cousin and a dear friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tressie Evans Turnbough
and one brother, Edward Turnbough.
Mr. Turnbough was a member of the South Side Free Will Baptist
Church, St. Louis, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent,
Executive Board Member, Trustee Board Member, Youth Sponsor and
Chairman of the Usher Board.  He was baptised March 27, 1966.  He
was also a Veteran of the Korean War.
Funeral Services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday October 23 at
Britton-Turnbough Funeral Home in Steelville.  Sacred music was
provided by Ron Scott, Bruce Turnbough, Pam Turnbough, Barry and
Jessie Kerby, Bobby Kuntz and Mike Schenck.  Honorary Pall Bearers
included Aleta Kerby, John Turnbough, Tina Sellers, Brenda Sellers,
Jane Kuntz and Dude Kerby.
Interment was in Czar Cemetery under the direction of Britton-Turnbough
Funeral Home of Steelville.
