PANSEY R. BLANSIT Pansey R. Blansit of Rt. 1, Steelville, Missouri passed away August 12, 1983 in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Missouri, at the age of 88 years. She was born January 12, 1895 at Day, Missouri, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Rachel (Wilson) Nash. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norman, one son Earl Dean and one grandson Allen Duane Mischke. Pansey knew the Lord as her Saviour and was of the Baptist faith. She was united in marriage to Norman Blansit on January 21, 1916 in Taney County, Missouri and ten children were born to this union. Those who remain to mourn her passing from this life are seven daughters and sons-in-law, Earnestine and Max Murry of Huntsville, Alabama; Imogene and Max McCorkle of Wilkinson, Indiana; Arlene and Neil Johnson of Forsythe, Missouri; Bessie and Herbert Biggs of St. Ann, Missouri; Joan and Jerry Womach of Edmond, Oklahoma; Betty and John Schouten of Littleton, Colorado and Phyllis and Duane Mischke of Steelville, Missouri; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Shirley Blansit of Newark, Ohio and CC. and Collen Blansit of Collinsville, Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Esther Blansit; one sister, Betty Cummings and three brothers, Sam Nash, Charles Nash and Barton Warren, twenty seven grandchildren twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday August 14, with Rev. Allen Miles officiating. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday August 15 in Walnut Shade, Missouri under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Steelville.
