Elba May Litton was born July 2, 1895 at Anthonies Mill, Mo, a daughter of the late William Henry Kinberlin and the late Susan Laney (Jackson) Kimberlin. She passed away May 1, 1986 in Alamogordo, New Mexico at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 29 days. On December 22, 1915 she was united in marriage to Patrick F. Litton and three children were born to this union. Mr. Litton preceded his wife in death on February 23, 1975. Also preceding her were an infant son; four brothers, Walter, Ben, Oscar and Scotty Kimberlin; one sister, Gladys Merkel, and one grandson, Robert Snell. Those who remain to mourn her passing are two daughters, Patricia Hiller of Cloudcroft, New Mexico and Joan Currier of Yuba City, California; one sister, Kathryn Ernie of Bourbon, Mo., 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 3 at Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. James Hoffmann officiating. Interment was in Soul's Chapel Cemetery at Ebo, Mo., under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were, Carl Bouse, Bill Bouckaert, Frank Paull, Clyde Kinberlin, Clark Springer and George Mapes.
