Annie L. Ragg Annie L. Ragg was born at Leasburg, Mo., on March 26, 1900, the daughter of the late Mr. Lanham and his wife, Melissa Scott Lanham, and passed away at the St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington on Monday Jan. 8, 1990, in her 90th year. She received her schooling and grew to young womanhood at Leasburg, Mo. In 1915 she was united in marriage to Mr. Raby Ragg. They make their home here in Union and two children were born to this marriage. Mrs. Ragg has been employed in the Hamilton Brown and the Carmo shoe factories in Union for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raby Ragg in 1944, by her daughter, Marie Ragg on Jan. 4, 1986 and by her son Earl "Buddy" Ragg on December 12, 1988. Those who survive are her daughter-in-law, Doris Ragg of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Marc Ragg and Jackie Armstrong; and four great grandchildren, Kathy Ragg, Chad and Kris Brauss and Leslie Armstrong; other relatives and friends. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1990, by Rev. Edward Gibson at 11 a.m. at the Union Cemetery, under the direction of the Oltmann Funeral Home of Union.
