EDNA BRIDGEMAN Edna Louise Bridgeman, a resident of Fleur De Lis Nursing Home in Farmington, Mo., passed away October 9, 1993, in Mineral Area regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 28 days. A former resident of Washington County, she was born January 11, 1915, in Boonville, Mo., to the late Oscar and Josie (Crawford) Gensler. She was united in marriage to Louis Clyde Bridgeman in Potosi and seven children were born to this union. Her husband preceded her in death as did three daughters, May Belle, Betty and Margaret Bridgeman and one brother, Bill Gensler. Those who remain to mourn her passing are one daughter, Lucille Warren and husband, Howard, of Flat River; three sons, Joseph Bridgeman of Mineral Point, Earl Bridgeman of Flat River and Donald Bridgeman and wife, Melba, of Leadwood; one brother, Rev. Joe Gensler of Belgrade; two sisters, Mary Etta Bridgeman of Cuba and Maude Merrit of Bourbon; 10 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted 1 P.M. Monday, October 11, at Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Interment was in Shoal creek Cemetery, near Steelville, Mo., under the direction of the Britton Bros. Funeral Home of Potosi. Serving as pallbearers were: Ken Snowdell, Robert Keay, Joe Robinson, Paul Warren, David Nipper and Jess Gann.
