ROY GREENLEE Roy Cliffton Greenlee, son of the late Patrick Miscal and Sarah Jane Record Greenlee was born on December 30, 1910 in Washington County, Missouri and departed this life on April 20, 1993 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri having attained the age of 82 years, 3 months and 20 days. Cliff was a longtime resident of Bourbon, Missouri where he served the City as Marshal and Alderman for several years. Later he owned and operated the Blue Springs Cafe on Route 66, then the Town Tavern for thirty-five years. Surviving him are: four daughters, Barbara Daupert and husband David of Midland, Texas, Joan Cerneda of Schaumburg, Illinois, June Altman and husband Carl of Bourbon, Missouri, Jane Lessard and husband David of Bourbon, Missouri, a son, Rick Greenlee of Cuba, Missouri, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters, Goldie Schmidt, Devita Dace, Estora Dorson, Valley Mercer, Florence Mercer, and two brothers, Roby and Clarence Greenlee. A kind and loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 22, 1993 from Hassebroek’s Bourbon Chapel in Bourbon with Pastor Harold Harrison officiating. Interment was in the Hardy Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri. Arrangements were under the direction of Hassebroek’s, Bourgon, Missouri.
