MARGARET CLARA MICHAEL Margaret Clara Michael was born December 7, 1910, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late John and Wilhemina Schenk Droelle and passed away, December 23, 1993, in the Cuba Community Care, at the age of 83 years and 16 days. February 3, 1951, at St. Louis, Missouri, Margaret was united in marriage to Joseh Michael. They enjoyed thirty-five years together before his death, April 28, 1986. She was also preceded in death by one brother. Charles Droelle, who died at the age of two years and one sister, Frieda Slape, who died at 73 years of age. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are two sisters, Helen and husband John Russell o Camdenton, Missouri and Marcella Mandel of Pleasanton, California; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Margaret Clara Michael lay in state after 3 P.M. Tuesday, December 28, 1993, at the Britton Bros. Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri. Funeral services were held 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 29, 1993, in the Britton Chapel with Rev. Berlie Turnbough officiating. Diana Leonard, vocalist, was accompanied on the organ by Deloris Bell. Committal prayers and interment were 1 P.M. Wednesday, at Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri. Pallbearers were Harold Darnall, Larry and Ralph Slappe, nephews, Roger Darnall and Lawrence Slape, brothers-in-law. Arrangements were under the direction of Britton Bros. Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
