Mamie Pearl Henry, nee Morin, was born on October 25, 1902 at Princeton, Missouri to the union of George Washington Morin and Mary Margaret Morin, nee Snyder, and passed away on May 30, 1994 at Rolla, Missouri at the age of 91 years, 7 months, 5 days. On November 23, 1923 Mamie was united in marriage to William F. Henry at Wet Plains, Missouri. Mamie and William had a long and happy marriage until William preceded Mamie in death on Decemer 25, 1954. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, one stepson Arthur C. Henry, six brothers, Glenn, Ben, Arthur, James, Ray and Merle Morin, and one sister, Verda McClary. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Rolla, had lived many years in Cuba, Missouri but had made her home in Rolla Missouri for the last 15 years. Those who survive to mourn her passing from this life are her three sons, James F. Henry and wife Helen of Waynesville, Mo., William E. Henry, Jr. and wife Madeline of Rolla, Mo., and Robert L. Henry and wife Elsa of Phoenix, Arizona; four daughters, Irene Ackerman and husband Ralph of Sullivan, Mo., Alene M. McFarren and husband Charles of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Paulene R. Wagner and husband Doug of Monument, Colorado; one brother Clarence Morin of Lyle, Washington, one sister Hazel Woods of Wichita, Kansas; numerous grandchildren; step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Mamie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, good friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Mamie Pearl Henry, nee Morin, was in state at the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri where funeral services were held on Friday, June 3, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Cunieo officiating. Interment was in the Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Misssouri. All arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri.
