Troied Kaysinger of Bourbon, son of the late Otis and Hattie (Usery) Kaysinger, passed away Monday, March 14, 1994 at the age of 72 years. Mr. Kaysinger was born September 15, 1921 near Steelville, at what is known as Huzzah. On September 13, 1946, he was married to Eildean Dane in St. Louis and to this marriage a son was born. Troied honorably served his country during W.W. II with the U.S. Navy in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre. Upon return home from the war, he became employed as a butcher with the Independent Packing House in St. Louis. He later became employed at Kroger as a butcher and retired from there in 1982. He had made his home in Bourbon the past 20 years and was a member of the V.F.W. Russell Schmidt Post #3987. He is survived by his wife Eildean of Bourbon, one son Rick Kaysinger of Bourbon, three brothers, Don Kaysinger of St. Louis, Hershel Kaysinger of Steelville, and Oman Kaysinger of the state of California, three sisters, Rowena Zumwald of St. Louis, Helen Turnbough and Neva Brown both of Steelville, three grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mr. Kaysinger was preceded in death by one brother, Doyle Kaysinger, one half brother Norris Wilkerson, and one sister, Thelma Finwick. Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 1994 from the Eaton Chapel in Bourbon with the Rev. Scott Perry officiating. Interment was in the Bourbon Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Kaysinger was from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Eaton Chapel in Bourbon where V.F.W. Memorial services were conducted at 8 p.m. under the auspices of Russell Schmidt Post #3987. Funeral arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Chapel, Bourbon.
