VIOLET ANN LUHRING Violet Ann Luhring was born April 9, 1936, at Steelville, Missouri and passed away January 14, 1994, in the Missouri Baptist Hospital, Sullivan, Missouri, at the age of 57 years, 9 months and 5 days. Violet accepted Christ as her Saviour when she was a teenager and joined the First Baptist Church of Steelville. She worked many years at the Brown Shoe Factory. She was a devoted daughter, mother and sister. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Among those who remain to mourn her passing are her loving mother and father, May and Milford Schoen; her devoted daughter, Sally and husband Harold Caldwell; one brother, Glen Grayson and wife Shirley and one aunt, Alta Grayson, all of Steelville, Missouri; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Violet Ann Luhring lay in state after 6 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 1994, at the Britton Bros. Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri. Funeral services were held 11 A.M. Sunday, January 16, 1994, in the Britton Chapel with Rev. John Frazier officiating. Committal prayers and interment were in the Steelville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hunter Becker, Alan Grayson, Roger Grayson, Wilbert Grayson, Rod Halbert and Drew Stubblefield. Arrangements were under the direction of Britton Bros. Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
