GENEVA AILEEN CRABTREE (nee Long) Geneva Aileen Crabtree (nee Long) of Cuba, MO. was born on March 22,1915, at Cuba, MO. to the union of Clarence Ray Long and Viola Minnie Long (nee Conlin) and passed away on May 30, 1999 at the St. Luke's Hospital, St. Louis, MO. at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 8 days. In 1935 Geneva was united in marriage to George L. Hartman: in St. Louis MO. George preceded Geneva in death on February 4, 1956. On June 18, 1966 Geneva was united in marriage to Earl W. Crabtree in Jennings, MO. They were happily married until Earl's death on August 25, 1988. Geneva was a member of the First Presbyterian Curch of Cuba.;, Golden Mariners and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 398. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Viola Long, and one brother, Walter Sharp. Those who survive mourn her passing from this life are her son, Warren G. Hartman and wife Lee;, two daughters Carol J. Hartman and Paula Ehret;, three brothers Eugene C. Long and wife Sue, Paul Sharp and wife Viola, and Leroy Sharp; three sisters, Bernice Martin and husband Bill, Betty Schife and Violet Mulder; two grandchildren, Evie and Josef Hartman other relatives and many friends. Geneva was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, grandmother, good friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Eastern Star Services by Eastern Star Chapter No. 398 of Cuba, MO. and Memorial Services were held on Thursday, June 3, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Britton Chapel, Cuba, MO. with Rev. Emily Hoyer officiating. All arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba.
