Crawford County, Missouri Wills - Jane Britton Will Book B page 64 Last Will of Jane Britton Deceased I, Jane Britton, of Crawford County Missouri, being of lawful age and sound mind do make and publish this as my last will and testament. First it is my will that all my just debts shall be paid. I give and bequeath to my daughter Catherine Gregory one dollar. I give and bequeath to my son John E. Britton one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Richardson one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Amanda E. Evans one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Missouri J. Hibbler one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary F. Myers one dollar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Rebecca L. Clark one dollar. I give and bequest and devise to my daughter Victoria Britton twenty (20) acres of bottom land now in cultivation being 20 acres off of the lower part of the bottom field. I give, bequest and devise to my son Joseph W. Britton all the remainder of my original farm containing 180 acres with all the improvements thereon. I give and bequeath to my grandson William Thomas Sargent, son of my deceased daughter Elizabeth A. Sargent, the sum of one hundred dollars $100.00) to be paid to him by my son Joseph W. Britton when the said William Thomas Sargent arrives at the age of 21 years. I hereby appoint my son Joseph W. Britton Executor of this my last will and testament and I hereby declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills given under my hand this 31st day of January AD 1887. M. Ramsey who are the subscribing witnesses to the will of Jane Britton deceased and being by me. First duty, sworn, depose and say that the said Jane Britton the testatrix subscribed the same in their presence and published and declared said will or instrument of writing to be her last will and testament and at the time of signing the same, she the said testatrix was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty one years of age and that said deposiants attested said will as witnesses.
