Additional Comments:
This John B. Splawn is the son of William Splawn and Martha Splawn (her maiden 
name was also Splawn).  John B. Splawn's wife was Susan Brunk.  John B. died 
19 Sept. 1914 and is buried at the National Veteran's Cemetery in Los Angeles, 
California.  His brother was Isaac N. Splawn whose service record is elsewhere 
in Daviess Co., Mo. Archives.
