Rainey. The Raineys were killed late Sunday evening when the car in which they were riding was struck broadside by a pickup truck driven by David G. Wilson of Rushville. The Rainey car was eastbound on J Highway near Tracy when the car dropped from the pavement onto a low shoulder. When Rainey attempted to pull the car back onto the road, the car traveled to the westbound lane and was struck by Wilson's truck. Dorothy Munsterman was born December 6, 1929, to Mr. and Mrs. Emil Munsterman of Weston. She attended Weston schools and was graduated from West Platte High School in 1947, and on July 16, 1948 she was married to Donald Humes. Mrs. Rainey worked for several years at the Veterans Hospital at Wadsworth, Kan., and when she moved to Maysville last year, she again took up nursing at the Cameron Community Hospital in Cameron. She married Mr. Rainey on February 25, 1978. He is survived by a brother, Mendel. She is survived by five sons, Donald C. Humes of Conway, Ark.; David E. Humes and Steven Humes both of Weston; Timothy Humes and Danny Humes, both of Parkville. She also leaves her father, Emil Munsterman of Weston, two brothers, Lyle Munsterman of Weston and Bud Munsterman of Agency; one sister, Mrs. Frances Russell, St. Joseph; and six grandchildren. Officiating at the services was Rev. Michael Christensen. Pallbearers for Mrs. Rainey were Edward Munsterman, Kenneth Munsterman, Robert Munsterman, Willliam Humes, Kenneth Humes and Billy D. Humes. Burial was in Mt. Bethel Cemetery.
