Yates Cemetery – JACKSON TOWNSHIP - Douglas County, MO – Partial List Yates Cemetery is located on Bryant Creek about 20 Miles southeast of Ava. It contains over three hundred graves. Over one hundred graves are marked with only rocks. Some of our county’s earliest settlers are buried there. The copying of the cemetery was done in 1974 so the newer burials are not recorded.
