Butler County, MO; Obituary of Joseph Nathaniel Ragsdale, born: Dec 15, 1856, 
Clinton, Hickman Cty, KY, died: July 13, 1946, Poplar Bluff, Butler Cty, MO, 


"Uncle Joe" Ragsdale, 90 died near Poplar Bluff  Joseph N. Ragsdale, 90 year 
old former resident of Dunklin County, died Friday, July 13th at the home of 
his niece, Mrs. Everett Green of Poplar Bluff. "Uncle Joe," as he was 
affectionately called was born in Kentucky, but moved to Bloomfield when he was 
a small child. He moved to Dunklin County when a young man and lived here until 
about two years ago when he moved to Poplar Bluff. Mr. Ragsdale was married 
three times, first to Miss Jennie Ross, then to Miss Ida Green, who died two 
years later. Then he married Miss Nellie Hollis and six children were born 
to this union, those surviving being Neil of Wasco, Calif., Mrs. Leon Lawcock, 
Duran, Mich,. Roy of...
