Baker Cemetery, Franklin County, Missouri Located near the intersection of Hardecke Road and Hwy H. T40N R3W Sec 29 It is at the top of what was once called "Baker Hill." It is off of Elmont Rd. Take Hwy H. to Elmont Rd. About 1/4 to 1/2 mile down Elmont it will fork, Elmont goes to the left and Hardecke Rd to the right. Stay on Elmont, go past 2 houses and the cemetery is on the left side of the road. It is right on the side of the road and only 2 monuments are left standing, Elijah's stone is broke into 3 pieces, didn't find Nancy Grosse's because its really snaky and didn't want to be turning over stones. Will look again in the winter. So I know these people and, now their old homesteads. I am working on the family tree. I have verified the information with Sally Jo Schubert Blevins (now owner of the old Miller farm) and Julia Bandy, who grew up a few short miles north of this area. The only names I could make out were Schmidt and Bell. There looked to be five or more stones. It is in bad repair.
