Franklin County, Missouri deed book X, pp. 229-230 Names in this record: BAUER, Michael SAULMEYER, Henry SCHWENTKER, Charles, Louise VALLÉE, John, Mary Mortgage, Charles & Louise Schwentker to John Vallée, 15 Nov 1864, 114 acres in Franklin County page 229 This Deed made and entered into this 15 day of November eighteen hundred and sixty four, by an between Charles Schwentker and Louise Schwentker his wife of the County of Franklin and State of Missouri as parties of the first part and John Vallée of the County of St. Louis and State aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth: That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged, have sold and by these presents to grant bargain and sell convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever the following lot piece page 230 or parcel of land, situated and being in the County of Franklin and state of Missouri and described as follows, the N.E. qr. of the N.E. qr. of section twenty two (22), and the S.E. qr. of the S.E. qr. and also the N.E. qr. of the S.E. qr. of section fifteen (15) all in Township forty four (44) Range three (3) West. There is however three acres from the last mentioned tract of land reserved which belongs to Henry Saulmeyer and being in the North east corner of said tract which runs twelve rods from West to East and thirty six rods from North to South there is also three acres reserved in the said last mentioned tract of land in the North west corner, twelve rods from West to East and thirty six rods from North to South, the tract which is hereby sold contains one hundred and fourteen acres more or less. To have and to hold the above described premises unto him the said party of the second part, together with all the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining thereto unto him the said John Vallée party of the second part and to his heirs or assigns forever. And the said Charles Schwentker and wife parties of the first part do by these presents covenant to and with the said party of the second part, that they will forever warrant and defend the right and title to the above described premises against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whomsoever. In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals this the day and year first mentioned. Carl Schwentker Louise Schwentker State of Missouri County of Franklin SS Be it remembered that Charles Schwentker and Louise Schwentker his wife who are personally known to the undersigned a Notary Public within and for said County to be the person[s] whose name[s] are subscribed to the foregoing deed as parties thereto, this day appeared before me and acknowledged that they executed and delivered the same as their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein contained. And the said Louise being by me made acquainted with the contents of said deed acknowledged on an examination apart from her said husband that she executed the same and relinquished her dower in the Real estate therein mentioned, freely and without compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
