Mrs. B.F. Short
Mrs. Bettie Short (nee Beard) died October 15, 1924 at the home of her 
daughter Mrs. Jesse Short at St. Clair after a long illness.
Mrs. Short was first married to J.C. Brockmann who died in Sullivan many years 
ago.  In 1912 she was married to Benjamin F Short.  He died January 8, 1924.  
she is survived by three children from her first marriage, Charlie and Robert 
Brockman and Mrs. Jess Short; one  adopted daughter Bessie Short; five step 
children, 9 grand children, one brother Paul
