The funeral was held at the Virginia Mines church, April 18th, Rev. J.B. Emmons, pastor of the church, officiating. He took his text from Luke 12:40. Her body was laid to rest in the Virginia Mines cemetery to await the resurrection of the just. May God bless and sanctify this sad bereavement to the eternal good of the family. If we knew that baby fingers, Pressed against the window pane, Would be cold and sstiff tomorrow, Never trouble us again, Would the bright eyes of our darling Catch the frown upon our brow?
