Monday, at 3:30 p.m. Rev. J. W. McCulley officiating, assisted by Rev. H.P. Haley of Chickasha. music was furnished by a double quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Woodworth, Mr.and Mrs. Chester Haley, Mrs. Lee Borders, Mrs. Idella Robbins, Rev. A.S. Kattner, and John Unruh with Mrs. Mary McCulley at the piano. The songs were "The Old Rugged Cross, "Safe in The Arms of Jesus," and "Asleep In Jesus." Pallbearers were grandsons of Mrs. Leach, George and Isaac Wiggins, Marion Gurley, John Fisher, Clause Pitman and Ernest Howery. Mrs. Leach had been a resident of Minco for the last 37 years. She was known among her friends and neighbors as "Aunt Ellen," She leaves five children Levi and John Leach, Mrs. Myrtle Gurley, Mrs. Annie Mottesheard, all of Minco and Mrs. Belle Johnson of Cabool, Mo. 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Leach is the mother Levi and John Leach of Minco. She has been a resident of Minco and the Grady County for the past 37 years. She was born in Indiana May 14,1852, and was 90 years, 3 months and 1 day old at the time of her death. Funeral services for Mrs. Leach were to be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 at the Baptist Church in Minco with the Rev. J.W. McCulley officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery with the Quayle Funeral Home in charge. 12:18 8/5/2004
