I, Henry Kampen, of the County of Gasconade and State of Missouri, of the age of 68 years, and of good and sound mind and memory and well knowing the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life, do by this presents make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in matter following, that is to say; I give and bequeath my soul to the Lord my God who gave it, and my Body I return to the dust from hence it came, and wish to be buried in a Christian like way and manner. I wish all my just and lawful debts as also my funeral expenses be paid by my executor herein named as soon as possible. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Minnie Kampen, all my real estate, personal property, mixed property or of whatever description it may be to be here in fee simple as long as she lives. After her death what then is left, to be divided among my children share and share alike, named as follows, my daughter Augusta Kampen, (now wife of Edwin Schute,) to my sons August, Fred, Henry and Oscar Kampen, to my daughter Minnie Kampen, (wife of Fred Poppenhouse,) and to my daughter Alice Kampen, (wife of Gerald Wetzel). And last do I appoint my beloved wife Minnie Kampen as my soul executor of this my last Will and Testament having full faith and confidence, do hereby exonerate her from giving bond and bond of the faithful performance of such duties as may devolve upon her as such administrator, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.
