Davidson and an adopted son. NOTE: 40 acres of his farm went into the tract bought by the Western Improvement Company which founded the town of Stanberry. This ground comprises what is known as the Eastern Addition and includes the ground on which the Normal building stood. Brown's Addition which was platted by Mr. Brown, is also a part of his original farm.
