Location: In pasture about 1/6 mile SW of Fairview Cemetery. In the early days of this community there was no public cemetery. When a death occurred in a family, burial was on their own land. First graves were: Alexander Sweat d. Jan. 6, 1858, 6 yrs, 6 mos., 33 days Sarah Sweat d. Jan. 11, 1858, 2 yrs.., 9 mos., 12 days Later the plot was also used by other people of the community as a burial ground, mainly from 1858 and one in 1906. There are 42 graves identified, 8 marked with a field stone and there are possibly several others. (There are no other names listed for this cemetery, just the two Sweat names.)
