Adams, 87, died Saturday, January 26, 1985 at Colonial Manor in Albany, Mo. Martin was born March 12, 1897 at Martinsville, Missouri the son of the late Clark and Robelle Adams. Martin was active in agriculture work, having been on a combine crew in Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma, as well as farming in Gentry county. He was united in marriage to Edith N. Shoemaker, who preceded him in death on October 12, 1977, as well as mother, father, six brothers, Elmer, Jessie, Walter, Fred, John and Charles; also two sisters Ida and Mamie. Martin attended and was converted to Christianity at the Ridgeway Christian Church as a young man and was a member of the Albany First Christian Church. He is survived by one brother, Arvol Adams of California; one nephew, Arvol Adams, Trenton, Mo.; several nieces, and a host of friends and loved ones. Funeral services were held Monday morning, January 28, 1985 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Albany, Missouri with the Rev. John Yarosevich officiating.
