Mr. Adcock was born at Gentryville. He was a member of the Stanberry First Christian Church. He was employed as a sheetmetal worker with Temperature Industries of Albany. Mr. Adcock was a Vietnam Navy veteran. He married Patricia Preston in 1973 at Stanberry. She survives. Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by his father, Junior, and a daughter, Angel D. Additional survivors include a son, Eldon D., of the home; his mother, Ruth, Stanberry; and two brothers, Terry, Savannah, and Randy, Darlington. Services were Apr. 25 at First Christian Church, Stanberry. Burial was in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry, with military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post No. 106, Albany; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2176; and American Legion Post No. 216, Bethany.
