Agee Taken By Death: Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel for Buell Ray Agee, 63, who was taken by death Monday morning at the St. Francis hospital, Maryville, where he had been a patient six weeks. The rites were conducted by the Rev. Floyd Kolb, Vienna, Mo.; the Rev. Charles Gash, Ravenwood, and Stanberry Lodge, No. 19, A.F. & A.M., and burial was in the High Ridge cemetery. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Alean Miller, Stanberry; Mrs. Ina Lee, Madison, Mo., and Mrs. Adelia McCuley of Independence, Kan., and a brother, Herman Agee, Stroud, Okla. Mr. Agee son of the late Joseph Boone and Mary Josephine Gearhart Agee, was born March 8, 1903, in Vinco, Okla. He and his family moved to this area in 1916, when he was 13 years old. He had resided in the Stanberry and Ravenwood communities since that time. He lived with his sister, Mrs. Miller. Mr. Agee was a retired farmer and stockman. Until several months ago, he was in charge of the city scales for several months. In addition to being a member of the Stanberry Masonic Lodge, he was a member of the Moila Temple in St. Joseph and was very active in that organization's events, especially parades, as long as his health permitted.
