Albrecht: Funeral services were held Sunday (26 September) afternoon in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel here for a former resident, Mrs. Rosa A. Bauer Albrecht, 85, who was taken by death last Thursday (23 September) at a hospital in Jefferson City, MO., where she had been a patient a week. The rites were conducted by the Rev. Lawrence Matlock, paster of the Stanberry Baptist church, and burial was in High Ridge cemetery here. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Helen York of Osage Beach, MO., Mrs. Joan Weant of Kansas City and Mrs. LoDaiska Bethel of Camdenton, MO.; a son, Charles Shelton, jr., of Tacoma, WA.; a half-sister, Mrs. Mollie Sullivan of Independence, MO.; sis grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Albrecht, daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary Ellen Gillett Wright, was born in Stanberry Dec. 25, 1885. She and Charles Shelton were united in marriage June 16, 1906. Mr. Shelton preceded her in death. She and John Bauer were married in 1932 and he preceeded her in death in 1942. Mrs. Bauer and John Albrecht were married in 1954 and he also preceeded her in death July 25, 1956. Mrs. Albrecht resided in Kansas City, MO., for 16 years, but was living recently in the home of her daughter, Mrs. York, in Osage Beach. She was a member of the Independence Avenue Baptist church in Kansas City.
