Alldredge, 86, Stanberry, died October 8, 2000, at his residence. Mr. Alldredge was the owner and operator of Alldredge Feed and Grain until retiring. Born Oct. 7, 1914, in Gentry County, he was a graduate of Stanberry high school and served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Alldredge was a member of the First Christian Church, where he served in the board of trustees and was a past elder; Chamber of Commerce, of which he was a former president; Board of Public Works and former board member of the Pine View Manor, all of Stanberry. On May 6, 1937, he married Erma E. Jennings. She died in 1998. Mr. Alldredge also was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Vernon Alldredge and a grandchild. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Jean Osborn, Stanberry; Judy Landes, Gladstone and Donna Charles, Springfield; a sister, Ruby Talmadge, Stanberry; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 11 at the First Christian Church with burial in High Ridge Cemetery, both in Stanberry. Memorials may be made to the Stanberry First Christian Chruch. Arrangements were handled by Johnson Funeral Home.
