Angle 1935-2005; STANBERRY, Mo. - John Edward Angle, 70, of Stanberry, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2005, at the St. Joseph, Mo., hospital. John, the son of Lawrence and Letha (Edson) Angle, was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Darlington, Mo. On Sept. 20, 1957, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Hall. She preceded him in death June 26, 1990. He also was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clarence and Arthur; and a fiance, Charlotte Lincoln. John was an auto repairman and vehicle inspector, owning Angle Auto Repair for several years. He was a Korean Army veteran and a member of the Raymond Sager American Legion Post No. 260. Survivors: son, Mike Angle, Holt, Mo.; daughter, Debbie Angle, Stanberry; companion, Patty Masters of the home; sister, Gertrude Ragland, Council Bluffs, Iowa; brothers, Ernie, Waco, Texas; Harold, Gentryville, Mo.; Paul, Albany, Mo.; and Jim, Stanberry; grandchildren, Judy Angle, Shantel Scrogin, Travis Angle, Stacy Foster, Trevor Angle, Alissa Ray, Austin Ray and Kaitlin Ray; and great grandchildren, Brianna Foster, Jena Baumli andSkyler Brown. Graveside service and burial: l p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry, with military rites by Raymond Sager American Legion Post No. 260, Stanberry; and Tri-C Memorial Post No. 464, Conception, Mo. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Roberson-Polley Chapel, Stanberry, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
