All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Tri-County News, Friday, December 21, 2001: Lois Maxine (Reynolds) Birdsell: Lois Maxine Birdsell, 67, Ravenwood, died Dec. 14, 2001 at her home. She was born Sept. 20, 1934 at Island City, the daughter of George and Bertha (Stuart) Reynolds. Mrs. Birdsell was a home maker and bookkeeper for the family farm. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Stanberry, where she taught Sunday School; worked with the children of the chruch on Wednesday nights and sang in the choir. She married Jack Birdsell on July 26, 1952. He survives at the home. Additional survivors include four sons, Steven Birdsell, Plano, TX.; Clifford Birdsell, Carmel, IN.; Bob Birdsell and Carl Birdsell, Stanberry; two brothers, Gerald Reynolds, King City and Larry Reynolds, Round Rock, TX.; two sisters, Lorraine Taylor, Maysville and Lila Hinkle, St. Joseph; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Birdsell was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Arlene Scott. Funeral services were held on Dec. 17 at the First Baptist Church in Stanberry under the direction of Roberson-Polley Chapel. Burial was in High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Stanberry or the SSM Hospice of N. W. MO., Maryville.
