(Bud) Boner dies in Maryville: Final services were held Monday afternoon in the First Christian church in Maryville for William F. (Bud) Boner, 55-year-old native of Stanberry, who died early Saturday morning following a heart seizure he suffered while working in the state highway maintenance barn in Maryville. Services for the Maryville resident were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. George Barger, and burial was in High Ridge cemetery, Stanberry, under the direction of the Price Mortuary, Maryville. Mr. Boner, a state highway department employe 33 years, had been working with snow trucks for about four hours and was trying to attach a v-type plow to a truck when he was stricken. A state highway department official said that Mr. Boner had been working only the day shifts because of his health, but that a result of heavy snows he had been called in for night work. Mr. Boner was born Mar. 27, 1903 at Stanberry, the son of the late Homer Boner and Nora Hermann Boner. He was married Sept. 19, 1926 to Lottie Mattson, who survives. He was a member of the First Christian church of Maryville. He had lived in Maryville nine years. Survivors include his widow, of the home, a daughter, Mrs. Edwin L. Baker, Maryville, three grandchildren, two brothers, Wesley Boner, Albany, and Walter Boner of Stanberry, and two sisters, Mrs. Rufus Marsh, Albany and Mrs. Ivan Murray, Taft, Calif.
