Colleen Bortorff, 69, Stanberry,  died  July  23,  2000,  at  Pine  View  Manor,
Stanberry.

Mrs. Bottorff was born Oct. 18, 1930, at Pattonsburg  and  had  worked  for  two
veterinary offices before retirement. She was a member  of  Mt.  Moriah  Baptist
Church, Helena.

Mrs. Bottorff was united in marriage to Leroy  Bottorff  on  May  28,  1948.  He
survives at the home.

Additional survivors include a son, Max Bottorff, Stanberry;  a  daughter,  Ruth
Ann Pierce, Mexa, AZ.; a brother, Paul Lowary, Kansas City;  two  grandchildren,
two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Thelma  (Scott)  Lowary;  one
son, Jimmy Wayne Bottorff and one granddaughter, Mindy Bottorff.

Funeral services were held on July 27 at Roberson-Polley Chapel with  burial  in
Grandview Cemetery, Albany.
