Approximately 100 persons attended graveside services Tuesday afternoon in the High Ridge Cemetery for Mrs. Beulah Evelyn Branstetter, 37, who was killed instantly last Saturday afternoon in a farm tractor accident at her farm home near Peculiar, MO. The rites here and the services Tuesday morning at Coleman Baptist church in Peculiar were conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Robert Easton. It was reported that Mrs. Branstetter was helping her husband dig post holse with a power drive tractor when the fatal accident occurred. Her scarf became entangled in the power dirve and pulled her into the machine, killing her instantly. Survivors Listed: Survivors include her husband, Clifford Branstetter, of the home; two daughters and two sons, Judith, Rita, Marlin and Curtis Branstetter, all of the home; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Slagle, of near Ravenwood. She also is survived by four sisters and two brothers, who are Mrs. John Shanks, Gentry; Mrs. Harold Adwell, Ravenwood; Mrs. Merlin Osborn, Savannah; Mrs. Leland Messner, Kansas City; Roy Slagle, Kansas City, MO.; and Vilas Slagle, St. Joseph. Two grandmothers, Mrs. Lillie Morrow, Stanberry, and Mrs. Florence Slagle, Ravenwood, also survive, as well as a wide circle of friends. Mrs. Branstetter was born at Ravenwood on June 18, 1925. She attended the Stanberry high school. She and Mr. Branstetter were united in marriage on Nov. 15, 1945. Mrs. Branstetter, who was converted in her early teens, was a member and very active in the Coleman Baptist church.
