Bullock, station agent for the Wabash Railroad Co. here for 22 years, died at his home in Stanberry about 4:30 o'clock Friday morning. He had been in ill health for a number of years and in a serious condition for a week prior to his death. Mr. Bullock, who retired as station agent here in 1937, had seen 44 years service with railroads. He had served as a station agent at Carrollton, MO., and Coin, IA., before coming to Stanberry in 1919. His loyalty to his work was long recognized here. For many years he was a member of the Masonic order, but of recent years had not remained active in the work of the organization. Born in Illinois: Mr. Bullock was born Nov. 21, 1871, at Arthur, Ill., and was 81 years old at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Tabitha Turman on Sept. 30, 1909. She survives him as do three sons, Orrin C., of San Diego, Calif.; Jesse of Campbell, Calif.; and Paul of Kansas City. He also is survived by one sister, Mrs. Flossie Cox, of Decatur, Ill., and 11 grandchildren. One son, Cecil, died Jan. 6, 1950. Funeral services were held for him Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church here with the Rev. Bob Beesley, pastor of that church, officiating. Burial was in the High Ridge cemetery.
