(Bill) Butrick, Sr., 82, died March 29, 2004, at Locust Grove, OK., and was cremated under the direction of Shipman Funeral of Pryor, OK. He was born Oct. 24, 1921; the son of George W. and Lula (Fultz) Butrick, in Stanberry. Mr. Butrick served his country in the United States Army. He was a carpenter most of his life. He was a member of the American Legion of Pryor and the VFW. He spent his retirement caring for unwanted cats and dogs at the Lake Hudson reservoir in Salina, OK. He is survived by a daughter, Judy Kay, and husband, Terry Shepherd, of Papillion, NE.; a son, Willis Marvin (Tom) Butrick, Jr. of Omaha, NE.; four grandchildren; two step-children and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Butrick, and wife, Alyce, Kansas City and Hugh Butrick and wife, Lucille, of Albuquerque, NM.; four sisters, Mary and husband, Harley Weigart and Margaret Lambing of St. Joseph; Gayle and husband, Don Reynolds, Brookfield and Shirley Redden of Salina, KS.
