Medical Centery in Warrensburg. He was born on April 2, 1926, in Osborn; the son of the late Ralph and Sally Lee Cochran. Mr. Cochran began working for the Rival Co. in Albany in 1975. He was employed there until 1987, at which time he moved with the company to Warrensburg, where he retired in 1991. He also farmed in the King City area for many years. He was a member of the Stewartsville Baptist Church. On Dec. 10, 1952, he married Margaret Marie Pearce. She preceded him in death on Sept. 5, 1953. He was also preceded in death by one son in infancy; four brothers, Charles, Guy, Lester, Lewis and Gail Cochran; four sisters, George Anna Cochran and Margaret Cobb and two in infancy. On June 12, 1955, he married Edna Hatcher in Cameron. She survives at the home. Additional survivors include four sons, Robert Cochran, Raytown; Stevie Cochran, Warrensburg; Jack Cochran and Gary Cochran, both of King City; three daughters, Peggy Cochran and Beverly Cochran, both of Warrensburg and Carol McLeod of Albany; five brothers, Cecil Cochran, Joe Cochran and Harold Cochran, all of Osborn; Donald, Amity and Frank Cochran, Wathena, KS.; one sister, Harriette Harris, St. Joseph; nine grandchildren; a mother-in- law, Virginia Hatcher, Cameron; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial were held on Jan. 12 at the King City Cemetery.
