Former Gentry countian drowned Friday near Cedar Rapids, IA.:
Final services were held Tuesday afternoon at the King City Methodist church 
for Marvin Lester Copeland, 41, Palo, IA., who drowned last Friday night 
while fishing near Cedar Rapids, IA.

Rites were conducted by the Rev. Ned Hill, pastor of the church, and burial 
was in the King City cemetery.

Mr. Copeland is survived by his wife, Harriett, of the home; his father, 
Albert R. Copeland, King City; four brothers, Albert R., Jr., Holden, MO.; 
Gene, Kansas City; Dan, Des Moines, and Robert L., Fairbanks, Alaska, and 
a sister, Mrs. Ruby Neal, Stanberry.
