She was born Sept. 16, 1920, northwest of Albany; the daughter of Edward and Tuleta (Grace) Manion. She lived most of her life in Gentry County and was a homemaker. On Sept. 24, 1938, she married J. B. (Pat) Owens. He preceded her in death in 1979. On April 21, 1983, she married Cleo Dodge, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, one brother and three grandsons. Survivors include two daughters, Tuleat Gilcrist, Yucaipa, CA. and Patresa Stockton, Centralia, IL.; a son, John Ownes, King City; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on March 23 at Gibson Funeral Home, with Pastor Ken Jameson, officiating. Music was provided by Geraldyne Herbster, Organist; Norma Clark and Alice Barker, vocalists. Pallbearers include Walter Miller, Harlen Stegman, Rick Rainey, Dick Piper, Wyatt Burch and Larry Dodge. Interment was in the Berlin Cemetery, east of King City. Memorials may be given to the Hammer Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Jeff Owens Scholarship Fund, in care of Gibson Funeral HOme, P.O. Box 552, King City, MO. 64463.
