The cause of death was due to the enlargement of the liver, together with other com- plications. He leaves one sister Mrs. S.L. Beery of this city, one brother, George Filbert, of Go- wer, Mo., a wife and several child- ren to mourn his departure. The funeral services were con- ducted today at the residence at 10 o'clock by Rev. Ball of Alan- thus. The remains were laid to rest in the Jennings Cemetery beside his former companion.
