All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm Submitted by: Don Raymond The Tri-County News, Friday, June 21, 2002: Garry Wayne "Drawbar" Gage, Stanberry, died june 19, 2002, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. A lifelong Stanberry resident, he was born Dec. 3, 1941, at Maryville, to Elmer and Florence Boatwright Gage. In 1961 he married Sharon Kay Umphry. A truck driver, he was of the Baptist faith, and was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Marvin, Rex, Bobby, and Woodson. Survivors include his wife, Kay; daughters, Sharon Lynn Bond and Tammy Armfield; grandchildren, Joseph Bond, Dillon Bond, Kenneth Gage Armfield, and Gillian Grace Armfield; brother, Max Gage, all of Stanberry; sister, Frieda Duley, Maryville; nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held June 15, at High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.
