Graham, 81, Stanberry, died Oct. 19, 2002, at a Maryville nursing home. Born Feb. 28, 1921, in Alanthus Grove, he was the son of Lee and Maggie (Yount) Graham. Before his retirement he worked as a farm laborer. Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wanda Scott. He was united in marriage to Juna Paxton on June 5, 1939. She survives him at the home. Additional survivors include a son, Eldon Graham, Stanberry; two daughters, Wanda Barnett, St. Joseph and Peggy James, Ravenwood; a brother, George Graham, Liberty; two sisters, Vonceil Gillespie, St. Joseph and Thelma Maxine Weatherd, Darlington; nine grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Oct. 22 at Roberson-Polley Chapel with Rev. Susan Noakes officiating. Pallbearers included: Bobby Graham, James Graham, Donald James, Sean Barnett, Mike Barnett and Patrick Edmondson. Burial was in High Ridge cemetery, Stanberry.
