Gregory, 82, Gentry, died June 28, 2005 at his home. Mr. Gregory was born Dec. 6, 1922 near Stanberry; the son of Joe and Liza (Boatwright) Gregory. He was a member of the Alanthus Grove Chruch of Christ, serving as a Deacon. In 1940, he graduated from Stanberry high school. Mr. Gregory was a farmer and a laborer for Lehr Construction. He also worked for Kerr Glass in California for three years. A fall on a construction site left him disabled since 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Gladys Wiliams and Joyce Craven; an infant grandson, Timothy Zook and a son-in-law, Rob Zook. On Feb. 26, 1950 he was united in marriage to Mary Malaney. She survives at the home. Additional survivors include three daughters, Karen Smith (Bill), Stanberry; Kathy Zook, St. Joseph and Kay Patterson (Darrell), Savannah; five grandchildren, Doug Smith (Darlene), Albany; Richard Zook (Tracy), St. Joseph; Shawn Smith (Sarah) Denver; Melissa Gregory and Tammy Zook, St. Joseph; six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Coltin, Callie and April Smith and Kayla and Michael Zook. Two step-great- grandchildren, Mike Tyson and Torrie Ruyan. Funeral services were held on July 1 at Alanthus Grove Church of Christ, Stanberry, with interment at Old Brick Cemetery, Albany. Memorials may be given to Old Brick Cemetery in care of Roberson-Polley Chapel, 5th and North Alanthus, Stanberry, MO. 64489, who had charge of arrangements.
