(Cully) Grimsley Died on Saturday at Age of 75: Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock for H. C. (Cully) Grimsley, Stanberry resident for the past 19 years. Last rites were held at the Phillips mortuary, with the Rev. Charles Hagee pastor of the Stanberry Christian church, officiating. Burial was at the Rouse cemetery at Darlington. He was 75 years old at the time of his death. H. C. Grimsley, familiarly known as "Uncle Cully," son of John and Elizabeth Grimsley, was born on a farm near Darlington Apr. 15, 1875, and passed from this life at Albany Apr. 14, 1951, lacking only one day of reaching the age of 76. He was married to Sadie Yates of Darlington. Mrs. Grimsley died in 1905. After her death, he went to California, where he remainded 30 years, coming to Stanberry about 19 years ago. Since he returned here, he had been engaged in farming. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. J. P. Haight, of Denver, Colo., and a number of nieces and nephews. Burial was in the Rouse cemetery at Darlington.
